We will prompt you throughout your session so you never have to wonder what to do. We will also give you and your family time to interact naturally. We will get the coveted photo of everyone looking at the camera but we also want to capture the in-between moments. The ones you don’t even realize are happening, but mean the world.
Try to be touching someone at all times during your session- a hand on a shoulder, arm or head, holding hands, touching foreheads and noses, kisses on cheeks and foreheads, looking at your loved ones, cuddling up! We want to show the loving connection within your family.
Everything that your kids do during their session is CUTE (unless it’s a safety risk). Life is busy, phases pass too quickly and time goes by. Spend this time enjoying each other and soak up the love!
Upon arrival, we will remind you to remove hair ties from wrists, cell phones and wallets from pockets, etc. We suggest skipping the chewing gum and avoiding bribe candy (bribe puffs and cheerios are welcome).
Please refrain from pulling out your phone to play videos for your children. We understand the temptation but this prevents your child from connecting with us, the camera, and most importantly- you!
